Week 7.5

This past week has been crazy with lots of stuff going on. Owen is growing like a weed though. Matt stepped on the scale with him last week and we are figuring that he now weighs 12 lbs. I'm happy with that because I no longer have to lift weights! He's got the cutest cheeks known to man! Owen met lots of family and friends at G&G Brennan's house last Sunday. It was nice and warm out. Owen had his first trip to Carousel Mall last week. Too bad he slept right through it all - go figure. We went to Grandma Wilmot's house and hung out with her while Matt mowed the lawn. Matt had his first Father's Day on Sunday. He enjoyed playing all day with Owen and watching golf and racing. It was nice because I got lots of stuff done. Mom & Dad came over for dinner and always enjoying playing with Owen. This week we are trying out some new things. Last night was the first time Owen slept in the crib all night and the first time that he slept for 4 hours straight. It was nice to get that much consecutive sleep - don't think that has happened in 2009 to date. He's also taking naps during the day. He's gone from no naps for the past 3 - 4 weeks to all of a sudden napping in the morning and then again in the afternoon. Huh!? Weird how they change all of a sudden in a day. Owen is 8 weeks old this week - hard to believe. He's changed so much since April. We are looking forward to the next couple of weeks with Owen's baptism, Meg's 30th birthday, and the Wilmot family reunion - we have a lot going on. Hope you enjoy the pictures!
