Week 9

Yikes - it's already July and Owen is now 9 weeks old. Time has flown by. Mom B hadn't seen Owen in a couple weeks and came over yesterday and exclaimed how big he had gotten. He's definately getting bigger and changing daily. He is smiling more at Matt and I and we have a little game we play where we stick out our tongues and he mimics us. It's cute. He's officially sleeping in the crib now - not all night long but is getting longer and longer in between feedings. He now goes about 3.5 - 4.5 hours in between. It's kinda nice. He's already gotten on a school schedule and gets me up between 4 and 5 every morning. Makes it hard to "sleep in". Owen got to meet his Auntie Sarah this week and all his 6 cousins. We spent time with them today and Owen enjoyed sleeping on his aunt. Seems like something he likes to do frequently. We went and had dinner with Grandpa B last saturday night at camp. Grandpa got lots of smiles - enough to make Grandma B jealous I think - and he got his qt time in with Owen before next weekend. Tomorrow is Dr's appts and we will find out truly how much he weighs. I'll post pics tomorrow - too tired now.
