So I said that I would post the next day - I'm bad about that. Sorry. So we went to the DR. on thursday. Owen is officially a big boy! He weighed 13 lbs. 11 oz and is now 25 inches in length. I came home and looked at some of the 6 mos clothes we have which technically fit him now. Glad I didn't wait until he was 6 mos old to put him in it. We've done a lot the past week. Matt's sister Sarah came into town with her 6 kids. Owen got to meet his Auntie and play with cousins. We had a Happy Birthday, Congratualtions Graduate, and Happy Baptism party with friends and family. It was nice to see lots of people - too bad it rained. Friday I got to see one of my long time bestest friends in the world, Amanda and her 5 week old Connor, as well as hubby Rob. It was great to compare notes and see them all. We hopefully will make that a 4th of July tradition. The 4th we went to Rushford, NY to meet most all of Matt's family, including extended family at the Hotchkiss family reunion. Owen got to meet most of the rest of the cousins, aunts and uncles. We went for a walk and made faces at lots of people. Owen was the youngest family member there. On Sunday Owen was baptized as well as Meg turned the big 3-0. It was nice to be able to go down to the Brennan camp and get to hang out with Aunt Katie and FaFa Holly. Owen slept most of the time. It was chilly and he was decked out in his Yankee gear. "Uncle" Ryan, back from Iraq, joined the fam for some pulled pork and fly fishing. It was great to see him (having not seen him since the start of pregnancy), and great to have him meet Owen. Monday Kate and Holly took me to lunch for my birthday while Grandma B watched Owen. He's been out of his routine for a week now so he wasn't really all that happy. Today he spent an hour with the Grandparents again while Matt and I celebrated our 2nd anniversary. Time Flies when you are having fun. Owen was the first one to ride in Grandma's new car. Other exciting things this week - Owen slept 6.5 hours straight last week! What a shocker that was - and in the same respect - rather nerve racking. He's smiling more and just starting to laugh. We went to the babysitter's today where he cried - a lot. We'll have to go back again. All in all its been one crazy week and hopefully this next one will be a little less crazy. Enjoy the pics!
